How do I submit a motion to the AGM?

Send your proposed motion in writing to the strata manager (or secretary) before the deadline shown in the AGM notice — usually 7 days before the meeting. The motion must be precise enough that owners can vote yes or no.

If your motion proposes spending money it should include a budget. If it proposes a by-law change it should include the exact wording of the new or amended by-law. The strata manager can help you word a motion correctly so it's clear and enforceable.
