How much notice is required for a strata meeting?

Most states require 7 or 14 days' written notice of any general meeting (AGM or EGM), with the agenda and any motions attached. Notice can be sent by email if the owner has agreed to electronic service.

Short notice is sometimes allowed in genuine emergencies but only with consent of all owners. If the notice period isn't met any decision can be challenged and overturned by the tribunal — meeting paperwork matters.
