What strata law applies in the ACT?

ACT strata is governed by the Unit Titles (Management) Act 2011 and the Unit Titles Act 2001. The regulator is Access Canberra. Disputes are heard at ACAT (the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal).

The ACT was an early adopter of pro-pet by-law rules and has a dedicated framework for class A (residential) and class B (commercial) schemes. Unit titles in the ACT also include 'community titles' for mixed developments.
