Who can be on the strata committee?

Any lot owner (or a nominee of a corporate owner) is eligible. Tenants generally can't sit on the committee, although in NSW a tenant representative can attend meetings if more than half the lots are tenanted.

People who owe levies are usually disqualified. Family members and co-owners can both stand. Most schemes let the same people serve year after year — re-election just happens at the AGM.
