Are the quotes I receive legally binding?
The quote itself isn't a contract — it's an offer. The binding contract is the agency agreement you sign, which restates the fees and adds full terms (term length, exit clauses, indexation). Always read the agreement carefully before signing.
If a manager wins your business and the agency agreement materially differs from their quoted fees, that's a red flag. A good manager will hand over both documents — quote and draft agency agreement — at the same time so you can compare them.
